The apostle John wrote such a profound statement about Jesus as the Saviour of the world.
This is not something that John just read about, speak about but he has seen and lived with the Messiah.
In the verse before this John shared about abiding in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
John can testify that the same Jesus who walked on earth and lived among them is now living in him by God’s Spirit.
John witnessed the same power, wisdom, knowledge, and presence of Jesus in him, therefore he testified.
John also can see the life of Christ in believers, manifesting the power and love of God.
This is not just a word but a statement of true testimonies of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
This same life that Jesus lived here on earth is in every believer who believes in His complete work.
Therefore, in conclusion, John encouraged believers to live life as one in Christ.
We too can experience Jesus every day and manifest His power and love if we believe.
Let us cast off every doubt and be steadfast in Jesus Christ who is the Saviour of the world.
