John‬ ‭14‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—”

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When Jesus rose again from the dead, He sent to us the Helper, the Holy Spirit, that same Spirit of God that was upon Jesus is now in us.

The Holy Spirit did not remain in people during the old covenant until the day Jesus was baptised and received the Holy Spirit.

This is the promise that Jesus made to all who would believe in Him. All who believe in Jesus have received the Holy Spirit and have become the dwelling place of God.

Now the Holy Spirit has taken residence in our lives and will never leave.

That is what God has promised and to be in agreement with what Jesus has done, we need to believe that the Holy Spirit is not going to leave us.

God’s Spirit testifies that we are children of God and the Holy Spirit is our enlightenment to all truth.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God IN OUR LIVES. The word of God is manifested by the revelation that the Holy Spirit brings.

We are spirit-filled believers in Christ and to walk as spirit-filled believers is not an option but is the only way.

Jesus said in John 4:24 that God is Spirit and all must worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

Remember that God is not a man that He would lie but He is TRUTH and will never go against His word.

God has said that He will be with us forever. Therefore, we should not pray please don’t leave us or please be with us.

Those kinds of prayers show that we are not convinced that God is faithful to His word. Instead, we should thank God for His Spirit in us who will lead us into all truth.

Knowing that we have the Holy Spirit within us all the time gives us such courage and confidence to move in faith.

It cast out all fear, doubt, and unbelief towards what God has said. When we start to believe, it will enlighten every part of our life.

We need to process everything from God’s point of view so that we will live and believe as He wants us to.

The Holy Spirit of God will never leave us. Therefore, be confident in Him at all times.

Blessings
