Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.

The psalmist is talking about the hand of God who made us. God made us with a purpose. Firstly, we need to be conscious that God has made us in His image and likeness.

The Creator of the universe made us in His image and likeness. Now that changes everything. That should change the way we look at things.

It also changes the way we look at ourselves and the way we live our lives.

Live life in the image of God through Christ Our Lord.

The Bible continues to say that He not only made us but fashioned us. This word fashioned comes from the Hebrew word that means "God has prepared every human being for whatever He has prepared every human being for".

This means that we have been fashioned to accomplish the task that God has called us to. No matter how difficult, how strong the enemy may look like and no matter how impossible the situation may be, we must remember God has fashioned us to accomplish whatever He has made us to accomplish.

We are born with a purpose and we grow in God with the knowledge that He shows us and teaches us.

Each step is guided by Him while we learn to trust Him in areas that we are not certain and walk by faith in Christ.

The wealth of understanding that God gives is to know His way and to know how to face the challenges that come our way.

Let us keep growing in His image till every part of us reflects every part of Him.
