Jesus through His death and resurrection has light up our life. We are the light of the world and the world needs to see the truth and the world needs to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Jesus has done His part by lighting up His holy light in us by the power of His Holy Spirit.

This light shines forth through our new identity in Christ. It is by faith we believe that we are the light.

When we continue to believe God and His word, we shine forth that light.

But when we don't believe or doubt, darkness sets in.

We are not children of darkness but children of the light. Therefore, we must set our eyes, hearts and minds on what Christ has already made us to be.

We are the light of the world whether we feel it or not, we are the light even if we can't see any changes.

Everything takes place in the supernatural first before we will see it in the natural.

We must not be discouraged by what we see in the natural, our faith in Christ must not be weakened but strengthened each day by renewing our hearts and minds in His promises.

We have a responsibility to be the light.

We have a responsibility to shine the light to the world.

How do we shine the light of Christ?

We shine by doing all Christ had commanded, preaching the gospel, casting out the devil, healing the sick, loving and caring for each other.

We shine the light by manifesting the attributes of Christ to the world in and around us.

Let us shine for Jesus no matter how we feel or at what condition we are in.
