Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The scriptures says likewise, just as we all died in Christ, we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.

To be dead in Christ or to be alive in Christ Jesus takes the same effort of aligning ourselves with the truth.

We have to come into agreement that our old self is dead. Therefore, we should restraint our self from speaking about what we used to like, used to speak and the kind of life we love.

This is important because the more we speak about the past, we give life to it. We also potentially bring back to life our old dead life by the confession of our mouth.

What will benifit us all is to bring ourselves in alignment with the new life we have in Christ Jesus.

This is the supernatural, divine and resurrected life that we all have received through Christ our Lord.

We have to renew our thought patterns, habits and our desires according to Christ likeness.

It is our responsibility to bring members of our own body into subjection to Christ until His life becomes part of us.

Let us continue to identify ourself with the resurrected life of Jesus and see His glory in and through our lives.
