Obedience is better than sacrifice. The truth is obedience always involves sacrifice but sacrifice does not necessarily come out of obedience.

So sacrifice is not bad. In fact, it is the life Jesus lived, He sacrificed Himself for us all to be saved. But His sacrifice came out of obedience.

Many pray to be blessed, many pray to walk in the will of God but their sacrifice is not out of obedience.

Many are robbed by the enemy because they don't tithe to the place they get their spiritual food. They give their tithes to someone who is in need, to help someone in crisis, and so on.

We cannot compensate for our disobedience with a sacrifice.

No matter how sacrificially we give, if it is not out of obedience, that sacrificial giving cannot be backed up by God and His word because it is not done out of obedience.

God designed tithing to help the ministers in the house to function and their families to be taken care of so that they can focus on giving fresh revelation from God.

If we change and do as we like, we are trying to change the system that God had put in place.

We need to serve the Lord out of obedience with every gift and talent that God has given us.

Obedience toward God and following His word will unfold all that God has promised.

Let us walk in obedience, following the governance that God has set through His Holy Spirit and His word.
