John 18:36 NKJV

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

Jesus clearly said that His kingdom is not of this world. This one statement about His kingdom should change our mindset about our life here on earth.

As much as we all have earthly duties and responsibilities to fulfil, we must not forget that in carrying out the duties and responsibilities, we must do it as a citizen of God's kingdom.

The principles of God's kingdom is different from the earthly system. The system of this world will tell us to insure our life for the future on earth but the kingdom of God teaches us to insure ourselves and others for eternity.

Jesus did not fight with flesh and blood but won everything in the spirit. In the natural according to the system of this world, He was defeated and killed. But the death He died gave birth to billions of Himself through all who believe in Him.

Jesus did not follow the world and its demands but brought all demands to the cross and brought His Father's kingdom here on earth.

Each time we are challenged in discussions, we need to engage them according to the kingdom of God.

Most of the time, it might not make sense in the natural but we can see the result at the end when we follow kingdom principles.

When we fix our eyes on Jesus and in all that He has established for us, the easier it becomes for us to make decisions according to His kingdom.

Let us not forget that Jesus is not of this world, and so are we. Therefore, we need to function here on earth with kingdom principles.
