Colossians 3:8 NKJV

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Colossians 3:8 NKJV

Paul was speaking to Colossians about living in the resurrection power of Jesus and on what it means to put away the fallen nature which is our old man.

We are constantly reminded not to engage ourselves with the characteristic of satan but to constantly renew our mind, heart and actions with the new life we have in Jesus Christ.

It has to be intentional.

Be intentional in our words.

Be intentional in what we watch.

Be intentional in the philosophy we hold.

Have we mixed Jesus and what was created by God from the beginning with the ideology that was founded by the world?

We must be careful of the little things we add into our lives which are the findings of men and the discovery of stuff that is of the world.

All satan needs is a little here and there to trap our mind to follow his ways. Paul is very certain and confident that Christ and Him crucified is all he needs to live a powerful and victorious life.

If we can keep living in the simple yet most powerful teachings of the life of Jesus, we would not have to be worried about our faith and others who are in the faith.

We need to act on what we believe in Christ and continue to learn from Him all that He wants us to learn and do.

Let us encourage each other in God's love, God's way and in God's promises.

Blessings
