Acts 3:2 NKJV

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

Acts 3:2 NKJV

A lame man was sitting down daily asking for alms at the temple gate where Jesus have walked through many times.

Jesus has healed many people around this place yet this lame man was not healed.

They may be many reasons and many things to consider why this man was not healed but one thing for sure is that Jesus's disciples carried out the works of Jesus and healed that lame man.

This gives a very important message to all believers. We must not get caught up in why this person is not healed and why that person is still sick.

That is what the enemy wants us to get caught up with and lose our focus on doing what we are all called to do.

Jesus healed many, yet many people around that place were still sick, lame, blind and deaf.

Peter and John could have thought that there is no point in praying for this lame man because Jesus had walked this way many times yet Jesus did not heal him, why should we try?

Instead, Peter and John followed the great commission that Jesus gave and did what Jesus told them to do.

The truth is we don't know why people don't get healed straight away or get healed gradually.

We don't really have a definite answer for the things that did not take place.

Instead of wasting our energy spiritually and emotionally, we should put all our effort into preaching the kingdom of God, healing the sick, casting out the devils and set the oppressed free in Jesus Name.
