Zephaniah 2:3 NKJV
“Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.”
Zephaniah 2:3 NKJV
When the nation was indulging with the things of the world, God called the remnant to seek the Lord. Those who stand for the truth kept seeking the Lord.
To seek the Lord means to behold Him as the source, the power, the wisdom, the strength and solution to for everything in this world.
The answer to our prayers is found in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore, by seeking Him, we will be opening the eyes of our understanding to the abundance of God in us.
God wants us to seek Him not for His benefits but for our benefits. Seeking Him is not losing time or effort, it’s gaining time, insight to pick up the weapons and our warfare and to live victoriously.
When we seek Him, we expose ourselves to our true image. That image that we see in Christ will begin to conform ever part of us.
God wants us to manifest Him in this world with our life. He wants us to escape the punishment that is set for satan and his works.
When we seek God in the right way, we will see the fruits of God in our lives. We can’t behold God and do nothing.
It will propel us to go the extra mile, push boundaries for His kingdom, resist the enemy and bring glory to His Name.
The world has its own way of meekness, justice, righteousness and humility and is different from what Jesus teaches us.
Our humility, justice, righteousness and meekness is all found in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we don’t come before God with our offerings but we come before God in Jesus Christ as the perfect offering.
Let us seek the Lord and manifest Him in every aspect of our lives.
Blessings
