“Rejoice always,”

‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We are called to rejoice always, which means no matter what happens, no matter what’s going on with life, we can rejoice.

There are two kingdoms which present two different results. One is the resources of God and the other the resources of men.

God’s resources does not run dry, it is not affected by the economy of this world, weather or any form of natural disasters.

Therefore, whoever has chosen to remain in Christ will always have a reason to rejoice.

We can rejoice during famine because our eyes are fixed on the abundance of God.

We can rejoice during drought because we dwell by the streams of living water.

We can rejoice when we are caught in a situation because whom the Son has set free is free indeed.

We have more reasons to rejoice than to panic, worry, be upset and be depressed.

We can draw the strength to rejoice when our eyes are fixed on Him.

If the world around us is filled with darkness, we can still rejoice in the light that’s within us.

When we start to rejoice in the Lord, it shows that we are standing on the right foundation.

It shows that we are drawing from the wells of salvation that we have within us through Christ.

If we find it difficult to rejoice, we do need to stop and check which wells we are drawing from.

Let us keep drawing from our identity, our position and our inheritance that we all have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Blessings
