Proverbs‬ ‭26‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A curse is like a flitting sparrow and like a flying swallow to those who believe in Jesus Christ.

There are people who don’t believe in curses and there are people who fear curses and pay attention to everything that people say.

Disobedience to God has brought curses to family, to the land, and to generations. But in Christ Jesus all those curses become causeless.

When someone curses, that curse only will find its course when someone gives attention to it, fear it and engage in it.

But we who are in Christ Jesus have become a new creation. Therefore, every curse will have no effect on us because it has no basis or causes to land on us.

We live in Christ and the life we live, we live by faith in the Son of God and no curse can come near our dwelling.

Fear will give the curse a landing space to work in our lives. This is the reason Jesus tells us all as He told Jairus, to FEAR NOT.

We need to believe in who we HAVE become as a new creation in Christ Jesus.

We are not going to "become' in Christ, we HAVE become. That is a big difference that we need to see in order for us to function under God’s Divine protection.

No matter what people say, or curse, speak abusive words, lie about us, and devise evil plans, it will not take place as long we remain believing in what Christ has done for us.

Therefore, let us not worry or pay attention to what the enemy is saying because it is just like a sparrow, it will continue to fly and all we need to do is not to give it any place to land on us.

Let us keep our faith strong in God who is faithful, true, and loving.
