Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Such a powerful statement of who Jesus is. This shows us that Jesus is fully human and fully God.

This is speaking of God Himself coming down to earth, taking on flesh so that He would be a qualified offering for the sins of man.

All the prophets, great men and women of God in the Old Testament had visitations of God, His Spirit, and power but Jesus is the first to carry the fullness of God continuously.

The Bible teaches us that as Christ is, so are we in this world. We are privileged to become the temple of His Spirit.

This means that as a child of God, we too carry the fullness of God within us by His Spirit.

We too can continuously walk in the spirit, in His power, glory, and love. This is who we have become through Christ.

By looking at Jesus and His life on earth, it gives us a vision of our future life which is full of potential.

Just as Christ walked with such power, we too can walk in Christ and even do greater things as Christ declared.

The way we believe will affect the way we live.

If we believe this is who Jesus is and this is what we have become in Him, we would see the glory of God manifest in and through our lives.

How we see ourselves is so important.

Do we see ourselves through our weakness, our lack, and our faults or do we see ourselves through the image that Christ has purchased for us?

Therefore, let us set ourselves up in Christ, see every situation through all that Christ has done, and surround ourselves with the works of Jesus.
