‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“In Him, you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul wrote to the Ephesian believers and encouraged them to keep living the life of Christ.

The Ephesians heard the word of God and believed. They did not reject as some Jews did.

They also embraced what they heard and changed their lives with the truth.

Then here Paul said that they were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.

Paul revealed the truth that we have been sealed with God’s Spirit.

Just like an envelope is sealed or a king sealed it with his signage ring, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

The content is in the package. It does not matter if we can feel it or see it, the content is in the sealed envelope.

When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are sealed with Him. God’s spirit does not come and go as in the old covenant but remains.

Therefore, we too need to believe that God’s Spirit is not going to leave us and then come when we pray.

We need to change how we relate to God the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

We don’t call God’s Spirit to come in when He is already in us. Instead, we should thank God the Holy Spirit for living in us and leading us.

We used to pray for the Holy Spirit to come and fill us, but He is already in us.

God’s way of filling is not from outside in but inside out.

Jesus said if anyone drinks of this water, will become in him springs of living water WELLING UP to everlasting life.

When we grow in the revelation knowledge of God, we allow the Holy Spirit to cover more parts of our lives, welling up from the inside.

Let us relate to God the Holy Spirit as One who lives inside and not as an outsider. He wants us to flourish in everything that Our Father has designed.

Blessings
