“The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.””

The Samaritan woman knew about the coming of the Messiah and knew that He will be the revelation to all mankind.

In this passage, the Samaritan woman was searching for her daily needs, looking to satisfy herself in a natural way and there is a hope that when the Messiah comes, the true meaning of life will be revealed.

When she had an encounter with Jesus at the well, all her years of searching ended, she left her water pot, went to her village and told everyone about Christ.

Many came and believed Jesus because this woman testified about Jesus.

Her life changed and was set free from everything that the enemy kept from her.

She knew that the answer will be found in Christ the Messiah and when she did meet Him, she received what she had believed.

We have received Jesus Christ and have the privilege and grace to live in Him.

We have the privilege to have His Spirit dwelling in us, to reveal the truth and all that God has prepared.

We no longer need to wait for an encounter because Christ lives in us, but we need to develop the relationship with Him.

We need to grow every day with Him and change our old ways to what we see through Christ.

Our searching is ended when we received Christ and our new life begins in Christ.

Now we walk in the revelation of Jesus Christ and in true fellowship with Him.

All the answers and wisdom that we need is found in knowing Jesus.

Let us lift our eyes on Jesus and know Him so that we can make Him known.
