“He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places.”

The Psalm of David is full of praises unto our God, our Maker.

David said that God makes his feet like a deer. The Israeli deer are normally the size of a goat and they leap from one scale of rocks to another climbing the mountain.

They jump very gracefully without fear or doubt. Their confidence is in their hooves which is strong.

In Christ, we have the feet greater than a deer. We don’t have to leap from one glory to another.

We grow from glory to glory as we stand in the truth and fix our eyes on Jesus.

For in Christ, we are standing in high places above all powers of this world and above all principalities.

We have a covenant that is far above and so much more greater than the old covenant.

It is up to us how high we want to rise up.

It is up to us how far we want to go in Christ.

The decision no longer depends on God but on us who believe.

To jump from one rock to another in life is dependent on us.

Anchoring our feet upon Jesus and believing all that He has done will cause us to have a good ground to push us up in the right direction.

Let us continue to stand on the foundation Jesus laid for us and keep rising up from glory to glory in Christ Jesus our Lord.
