‭‭‭‭‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus said to worry about something means that we are not trusting in Christ fully.

Jesus said that only unbelievers worry like that because there is really no other way out of their problems.

But we have a God who has clothed us with His glory and power.

That means all of the provisions that we need daily are provided for.

Therefore, when we worry, we are doubting God’s provision and His promises.

To worry therefore also means that we don’t believe that God has taken care of our daily needs.

But when we seek God, which means to believe what He has said and follow His directions, it will always lead us to His provision.

In a sense, worrying will derail us from God’s provision as it leads us away from it.

But to believe in God and to trust in Him will lead us to His abundance.

Where worry is present, we should quickly cast those thoughts down and start to see how big our God is.

Don’t let worry linger as it will paint an image in our imagination opposite to what God had prepared.

But let our imagination be filled with what God had promised.

Our God who made the universe and all creation for us to enjoy abundant life has got it all covered.

Let us live a life free from worry and trust in all that Jesus has done for us.

Blessings
