II John 1:9 NKJV

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. II John 1:9 NKJV

John is speaking of matters that are important for us to stay on course in our journey in Christ. Basically, if anyone denies the doctrine of Christ which is to believe in Christ from the beginning, His birth, His death, His resurrection and eternity in Christ has no God in them. This is not just about knowing the doctrine of Christ. This is about abiding and remaining in Him. To deny Christ is to deny the Father. To embrace Christ is embracing the Father. The doctrine of Christ holds together every plan of God for eternity. This is the foundation that we cannot afford to move away. This is the truth that sets people free. The only freedom we have in this world is in Christ. Only in Christ we can live life to our fullest potential and fulfill the purposes of God for our lives. The Father and Son cannot be separated. We cannot have the Father without the Son or Son without the Father. We have received everything through Christ because our heavenly Father loves us and gave Himself to us through Christ Our Lord. Everything Christ went through here on earth has a powerful life-transforming effect on our lives if we believe in them. To abide is to agree, believe and to walk in it in our lives while guarding it and nurturing it every day. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Blessings Ambrose Francis
