“Now this was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭11‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Even though Peter received this revelation 3 times yet he himself went back and followed the tradition due to the fear of the Jews.

The moment Peter took his eyes off what Christ had shown him, he got caught up with the snare of the enemy.

The reason God showed him 3 times is to remind Peter not to take his eyes off the finished work of Christ and don’t become men-pleasers.

If we are constantly fixing our eyes on Christ, we will not give in to the snare of the enemy.

If our face is set to behold Him, there will be no view of the enemy's work.

The closer we look at Christ, the bigger our shield becomes. Therefore, the enemy cannot penetrate in any way.

We need to protect our spiritual and physical eyes from being contaminated by presenting ourselves daily as Christ has presented us before our Heavenly Father.

Let us put on Christ every day and in every situation. Standing strong in Christ alone.
