“Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.”

Philip was preaching the gospel of the kingdom and he was continuing the work of the ministry as God had commanded.

Philip was told by the Angel to go to a specific place with a specific direction.

Philip, went according to what the angel had spoken.

Philip was not waiting for the angel or a visitation every time in order to do God’s work.

Philip kept on doing the basics while God told him the specifics.

Today believers are waiting for a thundering voice, a conviction, a visitation and a prophetic word before doing anything for His kingdom.

There are so many things that God has already commanded us to do but we ignore it just because we don’t have a supernatural message from the Lord.

The whole Bible is a supernatural message for us to go and live by, to share and preach the gospel to all nations.

We should not wait for the supernatural encounter before doing anything. Instead, we should be doing what God has spoken and the specifics would be revealed as we walk by faith.

The world is ripe for harvesting.

We don’t wait for another confirmation or another word but we just live by faith, doing what God has spoken and following His directions in the going.

Let us keep preaching and keep expanding His kingdom and His love.
