Colossians 4:3 TPT
And please pray for me, that God will open a door of opportunity for us to preach the revelation of the mystery of Christ, for whose sake I am imprisoned. Colossians 4:3 TPT
Paul asked the Colossians' believers to pray for him so that he will be quickened and ready when God opens the door of opportunity to Him. This does not mean that God is the one who is holding back the door but it does mean that God draws us or leads us towards that door. God has given us the keys of the kingdom to open the doors that need to be opened and shut the doors that need to be closed. Since the keys are in our hands, God brings the opportunities of doors our way. The keys we have in God will unveil the spiritual blindness from people and the hardness of heart so it becomes soft. In the natural, the presentations and looks are the influence for people to commit but in the supernatural, we have the power of the Gospel that has the power to transfer people from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God. Paul understood that he has a part to play, places to go and that is why he is attentive to the Holy Spirit to show him the opportunity. Christianity is not a religion, it's a movement. God is always moving to love, touch, heal and deliver people from bondage. It is because God is moving, our waiting, soaking, seeking, learning and abiding will always be accompanied by active participation with the world around us. We are the hands and feet of Christ and we are His heart to the people. If this is our mindset, we will always be moving with Him. Generally, there are three persons involved with regard to salvation. God, His ambassadors, which is us and the people. God has done His part, we as the ambassador have to do our part and the people will have a choice and do their part. Our Father did it by sending His Son, Jesus into the world. Jesus has sent us into the world to do the same. Let us be attentive, alert and ready to identify those opportunities that God has brought our way so that we can move with God. Bringing His love, grace and power and to do as He speaks. Blessings Ambrose Francis
