Psalms 24:9 NKJV

Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Psalms 24:9 NKJV

Doors are lifted out of its place with Easterners to show their welcome to their guest. This scripture speaks about the openness to the kingdom of God for everyone who would believe in Jesus.

If we can see how God feels, think and want for His children, we too would open ourselves totally to Him.

Doors are an entry point and whatever is in the house usually enters through a door. If we give close attention to the door of our mind and heart, we would know what kind of experience we are going to have in the house.

We are to lift our heads, our doors toward the One who desires us and who loves us above all of His creation.

We are to open wide our doors and never to close it to the word of God and His leading. We are to lift our head up towards God and His kingdom and not towards our circumstances.

We are made for eternity and that is the way we need to look at life that is through Christ. Everything else is temporary.

Everlasting door and not temporal. Doors that are designed for eternity to receive the eternal promises of God.

Setting our heart and mind on the things above. Renewing our mind through God's word is lifting our heads.

This is the posture of a believer. This is setting ourselves up for greater things for the kingdom of God here on earth.
