“And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them.”

The emphasis Jesus gave to the disciples is that the Kingdom of God is within them.

Jesus said there will be many that will lead people to go after times, seasons and signs but Jesus said don’t follow them.

God’s word has declared the things that need to happen and the gospel of His kingdom to be preached to the ends of the earth.

Jesus wants us to walk in His kingdom as kingdom citizens and not to go after as one who is searching for that kingdom.

Jesus is the King of the kingdom, and in Christ, we have all the benefits as citizens of heaven.

One way satan tries to trick us is for us to find the kingdom of God with zeal and passion.

For he knows if we are looking for it, then we will not realise that we are in God’s kingdom.

God does not want us to passionately look for a kingdom but to passionately live in His Kingdom and manifest His glory daily.

These people Jesus is speaking about are people of authority, religious leaders who point things away from what we already have in Christ.

Therefore, we must not let ourselves be diverted from our focus on Christ.

Let us keep our focus on Christ and live out His power and His glory in this world.
