Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For each one shall bear his own load.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul was teaching to care for one another’s burden and then here he says to carry your own load.

There are all kinds of loads, the assignment that each one has received from the Lord which is easy and its burden light.

But others added to themselves loads that were never meant to be carried.

For every assignment that God has entrusted us to carry out has its provisions attached to it.

But if we add desires and things in our own life that we shouldn’t have, then we are loading ourselves with unnecessary burden.

Paul spoke these things in the light of supporting for the gospel to be preached.

God has blessed everyone with provisions and with seeds.

Seeds are to be sown into God’s kingdom and food is to be consumed.

When we load ourselves with extra things that do not cover in God’s provisions, then we will start to eat up our seeds that were meant to plant.

Instead of producing more fruits from the seed we become in need of fruits because there was no seed to plant.

This applies to every part of our lives. People do their own things that are against God and burden by it. They expect others to pick up their pieces.

They do things against God deliberately and they expect others to bail them out.

We need to be wise with everything that God has given and trust Him to be productive for the gospel and His kingdom.

Let us be people who sow their seeds, give towards the preaching of the gospel of God’s kingdom and be the one to lift those who are genuinely in need of help.
