Philippians 1:15 NKJV
Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill:
Philippians 1:15 NKJV
Preaching Christ from a place of envy and strife is something that is still happening today. Some of us can get blinded by our own disappointments, hurts and pains.
Unfortunately by preaching Christ in this manner will bring about a view that is from man's perspective and it limits the knowledge of who God really is.
If we choose to see things from a negative perspective then we will pick, look and receive things that will bring envy and strive.
The Bible clearly shows us in James 3:16 where envy and strife exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
Therefore, it is important that we preach Christ from His perspective and His image which we are to grow from glory to glory.
We as leaders, fathers, brothers and sisters have to check our hearts to see if we are preaching, teaching and sharing from our own perspective or God's perspective.
One person in the same crowd can be built up spiritually and one person in the crowd can remain the same.
The difference has nothing to do with their surroundings or what they have heard but it has to do with what is in their hearts.
If we bring our hearts before God and see things through His eyes, we will see life awaits to be activated.
Joshua and Caleb saw through the promises of God. They did not complain about the other 10 spies who gave a bad report. Joshua and Caleb stood firm and did what God had called them to do.
We too need to share Jesus through His love, His grace, His word and His Spirit.
