For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.

Our God loves righteousness because that is His character and His image. Having and living in His righteousness brings delight to God.

When we appreciate someone's gifts, we use it, cherish it and value it. If we don't appreciate the gifts, it is left alone unattended and eventually will be discarded.

We create memories and experiences with the gifts that have been appreciated. But those we don't appreciate have no experience or wonderful memories with it.

Righteousness means to be in right standing with God. God's word and His promises are in right standing with Him.

If we align our thoughts, hearts, minds and words with His promises, then we are in right standing with God. This is living in God's righteousness.

If we appreciate His promises, His word and His leading then we will cherish it, use it and value it. We create memories and experiences with it.

When we appreciate God and His promises with gratitude, we align ourselves with Him and live in His righteous image.

Let us express our love to God by living according to His word and His plans.
