And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

Peter and John walked to the temple. It is where they saw a man asking them for alms and it is where they gave him a pair of strong legs in Jesus name!

Peter and John applied what they have learnt from Jesus and spoke to their situation and brought about what the man needed, not what he wanted!

Peter and John got the attention of the man and they gave their attention to him. Then they spoke to him to rise in Jesus name.

Peter and John did not beg God to heal this man.

They did not turn to God but they turned their attention to the situation that was before them and with boldness spoke the power for it to manifest.

Peter and John rose on the inside with the power and authority that Jesus had given them before telling the man to rise up.

There was such boldness and confidence that Peter and John displayed towards all that Jesus has taught them.

This is how Jesus wants us to look at situations. To look at it through the power and authority of Jesus.

No matter what comes our way, we need to see through the eyes of Jesus

See the solutions available in Christ and not focus on the problems or challenges.

Peter and John can look at situations with such confidence because they have anchored their faith in Jesus.

If we have anchored our faith in Jesus, we will not speak problems, lack or the giant before us but we will be speaking life and be the answer.

Let us not let our guard and our vision down but rise above it by the power and authority of Jesus Christ.
