Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul is encouraged to hear the faith of the Ephesian believers that not only they believe in the works Jesus has done for them but they also love and care for one another.

This is the picture of Jesus to the world - that God loves us and gave His life for us all.

Paul thanked God for the Ephesians and encouraged them to continue to grow in that grace.

Paul wanted to see that the Ephesians continue to grow in God’s wisdom and knowledge.

To be a true believer of Christ is to participate in all that He has done and to share that abundance with one another.

They give their time, their resources and they build each other in the kingdom of God.

To be a true believer, we need all the components of God’s system which includes everyone.

The life we live is not just for us, for our own family and our own interest.

We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing to be a blessing to one another.

This is the message Paul is bringing to the Ephesians so that they will not lose heart in doing good towards each other.

It’s important to ask ourselves, are we walking according to what Jesus has done and are we sharing that truth with each other?

This is not a law that God requires but it is the fruit of our love for Him that reflects when we love one another.

It’s not a law that we should be part of God’s family but it is for our own benefit to grow as part of God’s family.

Everything that we receive from God becomes powerful and effective when we put that into practice.

Let us continue to grow in God’s love and share that love with one another.
