Luke 12:48 NKJV
“But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”
Luke 12:48 NKJV
Jesus is talking about the kind of people that the master is looking for.
The master is looking for a servant who is diligent, persistent and will not give in to any circumstances.
The master is looking for a servant who will work faithfully to the end on what the master has given.
If we work for the applaud of men, then we will only perform when men are watching.
If we work for a position, then we will not fulfil our responsibilities in that position.
But whatever we do when we do it unto the Lord, we will not look for an applause.
We will not look for positions but just give our best unto the Lord.
When God finds us faithful in little things, more things are given to us to manage, take responsibility and to bring it to fruitfulness.
They are the ones who will not consider themselves but God and what He desires.
Every stage of responsibilities is accompanied with God’s blessing and provisions.
Let us be a good steward of every gift that God has given and let our fruits bring glory to our Lord.
Blessings
