Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The ending of chapter 8 is about those who have rejected the truth and will never find the way to achieve their full potential. Instead, they will walk in darkness.

But in these dark times, there are people who will believe the truth and hold on to the hope of God’s glory.

Today, through Christ Jesus we have the privilege of living in the fulfilled promise of God.

We who were once without the light now not only have seen the light but have the privilege to live in the light.

Jesus is the light and in Him we have become the light of God for the world to see.

Just as the people who rejected the truth can never find the way, we who believe in Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, will always lead us into triumph in Christ Jesus.

Choosing to reject Christ brings darkness to oneself, but choosing Christ brings His life, joy and peace.

It is our privilege and our honour to trust God and rest in His works.

We who have the light of God should focus on living in His glory and power so that we too can be the channel of His light and glory to the world.
