“And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.”

There were four friends who loved and wanted to help the paralytic man to be healed.

They got to the right place but no one gave room for the paralytic to go in to see Jesus.

The crowd was only interested in themselves and paid no attention to the needs of others.

But the four friends were determined to bring this paralytic man before Jesus.

Their love for the paralytic man did not cause them to turn back but to climb up the roof, open the roof up, interrupt the meeting and lower down the paralytic man.

The paralytic man’s sin was forgiven and he received his healing.

What would have happened if the paralytic man had no such friends?

The crowds were there for themselves but these four men were there for the paralytic.

Many turned their back on going to church, walked away from ministries, walked away from a dream and did not pursue it because they saw an obstacle.

Just because someone tries to stop you, it does not mean your call from God is over.

What it really means is that our miracles and breakthroughs are just right in front of us.

Seek God and follow His directions because today we have someone who is greater than the four friends.

We have God the Holy Spirit living in us to guide and reveal God’s plans for our lives.

When we have God Almighty on our side, who can be against us?

Let us keep seeking God, keep walking in His love and fulfil the purpose God has for our lives.
