“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”

God spoke to His people not to waste time, effort and energy on things that do not satisfy our lives nor fulfil our true purpose.

What really brings fruitfulness to our lives is HIS WORD. To listen carefully is to pay attention to His directions and to follow them.

Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God.

As a spirit being, our main food is His word, for they are spirit, and they are life, as Jesus said in John 6:63.

Therefore, fixing our eyes on Jesus, hearing His word and doing what He has said will bring true satisfaction that will last forever.

The best part is it is free. Because Jesus paid for all. His promises are yes and amen.

People work hard to have a little peace, a little joy and a little rest.

Here Jesus has offered to all the abundance of peace, joy and all that we will ever need.

All we need to do is partake of all that God has provided and change our lifestyle according to the abundance of God.

When we do that, we will reflect His image and likeness. His glory will be seen through our lives.

Jesus has made ready all that we need and empowered us by His Spirit to live in it all the days of our lives.

Let us not waste any more time but feast in the abundance of God and share Jesus so others can be blessed too.
