I Corinthians 15:34 NKJV

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. I Corinthians 15:34 NKJV
The Apostle Paul is speaking to the Corinthians about the resurrection from the dead as some are being confused, derailed from the truth and do not believe in the resurrection. At the end of addressing this subject on the resurrection, Paul said that we are to awake to righteousness and not sin. Paul is telling the Corinthians to snap out of this unbelief which is a sin. Clearly Paul told them that it is sin not to believe what Jesus has done. We need to snap out of the natural things that we are so caught up with and get to the supernatural life that Jesus has given to us. To believe the natural against the supernatural things of God is actually sin. This is because it is turning from what Christ has done and choosing to live on our own. Apart from Christ is eternal death and in Christ is eternal life. Therefore, if we choose to stand apart from what Christ has done it is sin and it produces death. There is so much that we need to snap out from our own lifestyle to the life Jesus has set for us. This is a daily process that we should intentionally be awakened to that is the righteousness of God in every area of our lives. Awaken to God's righteousness which is beyond what man can achieve, that is why Jesus came down from heaven and did for mankind what men could never achieve. Now that we all have the grace of God to live in the righteousness of God, to deny this life is a sin but to embrace it is eternal life. Let us be awakened in the righteousness of God and live our lives in the grace, peace and love of God. Blessings
