Deuteronomy 6:7 NKJV

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 6:7 NKJV

The word of God teaches us that our lives should revolve around keeping, rehearsing and living the greatest commandment.

To love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength. Everything we do needs to come out of loving God.

God's instruction to us is that we teach our children to put God first and to love Him DILIGENTLY, to walk the life, talk the life and live the life by God's word.

This is such a powerful truth that shapes and disciplines the next generation of believers of Jesus. Somehow we have missed out or we never taught this truth diligently to our next generation.

The main reason is we ourselves have not been disciplined to the extent of what the word of God says. We discipline our children to go to school because we want them to be better than us.

How much more should we be disciplined to teach them God's word which really will save their lives, strengthen and build them strong from the inside out.

The conversation on loving God is to be constant, constructive and implemented in every aspect of our lives.

It is time we make every effort to invest in our children today so that we will have a God-loving generation.

Let us take every opportunity to teach everyone to put God first and to love Him with all our hearts, minds and strength.

Blessings
