James speaks about people who look into the perfect image of God through His word, realise who they are in Christ and to a certain extent believe it but do not take effort to apply it in their lives.

Knowing and being enlightened by the word of God is great but it has no effect and creates no impact if we don't train our mind and body to follow it.

If we take time to put into action all that we have heard through God's word, we will be reflecting Jesus in every area of our lives.

Jesus said if you have seen Me you have seen My Father. We see the Father and His love towards us because of what Jesus DID and not just because Jesus knew the Father.

All the knowledge is useless if it does not change our minds, hearts and the way we live.

We can observe the truth but if we don't set ourselves down and deal with our mind and heart according to the word, we are hearers only.

What we see through Christ is who we really are. Shaping our lives by it means being transformed by the word of God.

The world has shaped us in many ways, causing us to think a certain way, respond in a certain manner which has affected our true identity.

We need to take time to undo the world and redo Christ Jesus into every area of our lives.

Precept upon precept and line upon line bringing our minds and hearts into alignment to our true identity in Christ.

Let's take time to look at ourselves, our actions, our reactions and begin to bring our ways to the ways of God.
