“even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul started with words of encouragement to tell the Corinthians the evidence of the true gospel is seen in their lives.

They saw the miracles and they operated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The testimonies of living the gospel were evident among them.

Yet Paul wrote this letter to eliminate division and contention.

For some claim to belong to a particular leadership and miss the point by arguing about things that do not profit but bring division.

Paul is saying that we all belong to God and what is important is that we respect the leadership and know that we all belong to God and not to any man.

Paul is teaching us that even though we live with such a powerful testimony of God’s grace, we still have to keep aligning ourselves with the truth.

God’s truth will reveal God’s character. God’s character is revealed in His truth.

In the kingdom of God, we never stop growing. Knowledge of the beauty of Christ is never-ending.

Time spent knowing God will only produce good results. For in God, all good things exist.

As we flourish in the knowledge and in the power of Christ, we must be careful not to entangle ourselves with things that bring no profit to the soul.

We must endeavour to keep the unity by following Jesus and His teachings.

Opinions, pride, and fighting against status are what the world fights for all the time. We fight to stay united in Christ Jesus.

We all belong to God and no man shall hold claim of our lives neither do we give ourselves to someone other than Christ Jesus our Lord.

Don’t attempt to be known by man but take every opportunity to know God and make Him known.

Blessings
