‭‭‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul explains that we are children of God because of the promises God has made.

Abraham was promised by God that he would be the father of many nations but not through both of his sons. But only through what was spoken, that is through Isaac.

We are the children of God not because we are born into a God-believing family, or because we are a member of a church.

We are the children of God because we believe in the promises God made. We are children of God through believing in the “seed” which is the word of God.

To live as children of God, we need the word of God. To live without the word of God is to live in error.

It is the seed of God’s word (Jesus Christ) that became flesh and saved us.

It is the seed of God’s word that is going to keep us and it is the seed of God’s word that is going to lead us to the finishing line.

Our full potential will be manifest when we align ourselves according to His word.

We are spiritual beings made by God to live a supernatural life and our supernatural food is the word of God.

We have a supernatural language and live in a supernatural kingdom that is of God.

We are to function not as the world does but according to God's direction through His word and by His Spirit.

We are counted as children of God when we believe and live according to the word of God.

Let us keep His word in our hearts and minds. Meditate on it so that we can fully live out our lives.
