Genesis‬ ‭22‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

When Abraham decided to offer God his only son, God gave him not only his son but also an offering to offer as a worship unto God.

Abraham experienced the provision of God through his acts of obedience to God’s word.

Abraham obeyed God in giving his ONLY son. This means giving up his lineage, his family name, and his legacy.

God made sure that he not only has them all but every believer will know who Abraham is for generations to come.

Giving our tithe and offerings unto the Lord is not a loss of provision. Instead, it is key to having our supply constant and overflowing.

When we give our best to God, it shows who is our source of provision. It really speaks about who we depend on for our supply.

Abraham was willing to give Lot the choice to pick the best ground for his cattle and his flocks. This is to show that his confidence is not in what the land could offer but in God who formed the land.

If we hold back our tithe and offerings, we are holding back our own supply and provision.

Give to God for His kingdom's expansion and see the supply that comes into our storehouse.

God is our provider and we honour Him as our provider when we acknowledge by our actions through giving to God.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Abraham certainly experienced it in his life. So can we with ours.

Let’s trust God for everything as we demonstrate that trust through our giving.
