Luke‬ ‭10:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Jesus is showing us that the harvest time is now. There are more harvest than labourers. Jesus said to pray for the Lord of harvest to send out labourers.

Jesus did not say labourers are few therefore go and harvest. He knows many will back down and feel condemned because they cannot do it straightaway.

Therefore, Jesus is showing us to start getting involved in the harvest by first praying for harvesters to be sent out.

When we start praying for souls, we are not only praying for the souls to be saved but we also setting ourselves up to reach the lost.

When we are conscious of saving the lost, then our mind and heart will start to respond with boldness to reach out to the lost.

The more we pray for the lost, the more we will find ourselves witnessing to them and the more active we become as harvesters.

Those who pray earnestly for the souls daily will themselves win the lost for Christ.

Let us be part of God’s heart desire. He came to seek and save the world so that all can enjoy the abundant life.

Let us start the journey of praying God’s desire, for the lost to be saved and be part of the great commission.

Let us start praying and looking for opportunities that will be open to share the gospel of the kingdom of God.
