Peter made a bold declaration of the power of Jesus that is far above every other power.

Peter preached that death, once held all mankind in bondage is broken by the power of Jesus.

Jesus took the pains of death, which means death that tried to end life, restrict and bind, now no longer has the power to do so. The function of death has been stopped by Jesus once and for all.

This gives every believer that believes in Christ the power over death.

That death has no longer the power to restrict, hold, bind and end the new life that God has given to those who believe in Him.

This means that every believer has no more restrictions, no more bondage and no more the influence of death.

There are no more setbacks. Now we have been set up by Jesus to live a victorious life.

This gives every believer an advantage to live life without the presence of death or sin-consciousness, instead, it gives every believer the

presence of God and God-consciousness.

This propels every believer to start from the position of victory and complete the race till the end in victory!
