Philippians 2:6 NKJV
“who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,”
Philippians 2:6 NKJV
Paul taught us to have the same mind as Christ Jesus. Jesus as God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God.
Carrying within Him divine power, character and authority to conquer, to sacrifice and to save us for eternal life.
The fallen nature in man often rejects the divine nature of God that we have received through Christ.
This is because we think it is robbery, not right and that we are unworthy to believe that we have been made in His image and likeness.
Therefore, we are not able to live the life Jesus paid for because we are constantly thinking it is robbery to be like Christ.
Jesus died for us so that we can become one with Him, restored and empowered with His divine power to rule and reign with Him here on earth.
If we don’t see ourselves as who Jesus made us to be, if we don’t see ourselves as one who has been filled with divine power then we will not be able to serve Him in His kingdom effectively.
This mind which was in Christ must be in us as we serve the Lord in saving souls, establishing His kingdom with the power and authority of God over us.
As Christ is, so are we now in this world to continue to spread the kingdom of God in every place.
We are God’s children, filled with His power and anointed by Jesus Himself with His Holy Spirit to share Him with the world.
Let us continue to walk as God’s divine children and manifest Him daily through our lives.
Blessings
