Acts‬ ‭27‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’”

Paul was taken as a prisoner to Rome. His warning was ignored by the centurion and they were caught in a storm that almost killed all on board.

When all men failed and lost hope, God spoke to Paul and told him not to be afraid.

When the storm and waves beat down the ship which causes them to completely lose control of the movement of the ship, how is it that they should not be afraid?

Paul even as a prisoner had the vision to fulfil. Paul knew that no matter what happens to the ship, no matter what happens to him, he will fulfil God’s purpose.

Paul’s mission did not only save him but the Bible said that all escaped safely to the land.

When God spoke to Paul, Paul realised the biggest threat was not the storm, the cyclone, the waves, or the wind but FEAR.

Fear is the enemy that needs to be destroyed. The way we defeat fear is to put our FAITH in God.

Fear not because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

Fear not because He has redeemed us from the curse of the law, sin, and death.

Fear not because by His stripes we are healed and made whole.

Fear not for God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He is our provider.

Yes, the storms of life are real, the pain is real, the lack in life is real but there is one who HAS made provision for all our needs.

Paul was in the perfect plan of God yet he was hit by the storm but Paul was not destroyed.

There is nothing that can stop us from completing our assignment of God here on earth unless we let fear cripple us.

Walk in Christ as a new creation and save not only our own lives but everyone else around us.

Let us guard our hearts and mind from fear. Keep fear out and dwell in God and in His promises.
