Isaiah 40:26 NKJV
“Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.”
Isaiah 40:26 NKJV
God is speaking to us today the same as He spoke in the days of old. He is calling us to lift our eyes UNTO HIM, the Creator, God of all creation, and the Almighty God.
When David saw Goliath the giant mocking God’s people, David the shepherd boy arose in his God and in the power of his God.
David rebuked Goliath and killed that giant that very day. David was an ordinary kid who brought food for his brothers on the battlefield.
But David’s eyes were upon the Lord.
David gazed at the beauty of God’s holiness, God’s might, and God's power.
David slayed that giant because his eyes were upon the Lord. Every mighty man and woman did amazing things because they knew their God and their eyes were fixed on Him.
If we take time to see the greatness of our God, behold His wonder, power, glory, and strength. It will reduce our giants to dust and our enemies to nothing.
If we would take the time to see the wrath of God that fell on the enemies of God’s people, we will find it hard to fear our enemies or be moved by them.
If we lift our eyes to behold God, our minds and hearts will be captivated by His power. We will be bursting with faith, hope, and love toward our God.
The enemy throws so many dramas in the world to captivate our eyes and attention. That is his bait to hook God’s people away from the truth.
When our eyes are on God, all the giants start to fall, the mountains are levelled and the noises that satan makes will be silenced.
The truth is, in the end, God wins and satan be completely destroyed. Therefore, let us lift our eyes and see God. Fill the capsules of our minds and hearts with His wonders.
Blessings
