John‬ ‭14‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus told His disciples that if they had known Him, they would have known the Father in heaven.

Jesus is the perfect reflection of our Heavenly Father. Jesus is the revelation of Our Heavenly Father and He manifested the Father’s love towards us.

We need to know Jesus and spend time with Him. As we get to know Jesus we will began to see clearly how much our Heavenly Father loves us.

Our knowing God has to go beyond our Sunday church attendance. It’s got to be a daily communion with Him.

We need to know Him through His word and through His Spirit because the more we know Him, the more we can reflect Him on this earth.

Just as Jesus reflected our our heavenly Father, we too are called to reflect Jesus here on earth.

For the Bible says that as He is, so are we in this world. The Bible also says that in Him we have, in Him we move and in Him we have our being.

God will not ask us to be as He is without first empowering us to reflect Him. The fact that we are as He is in this world tells us that we have been empowered to reflect Jesus in this world.

It all comes down to how much do we know our God. Do we just know that He is God and that He helps when we ask for help? Or do we know God enough that we would completely trust Him and be willing to let our life be guided by Him?

Our measure of trusting God depends on how much we know Him.

Let us know God, by the revelation of His truth and His power. May we continue to grow from glory to glory in Christ Jesus our Lord.
