Acts 15:4 NKJV
And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them.
Acts 15:4 NKJV
When the conflict of seeking the truth was resolved, it brought such joy and unity among the churches as we read in this chapter.
Conflict starts to grow between believers when the work and belief system is based on denominations, religious institutions, personal insight and decisions.
But when the focus is on Jesus Christ and His great commission, every conflict in the body of Christ resolves by itself.
This is because we will be focusing on doing what God has commanded us to do instead of debating about what God had said.
If God had spoken it in His word, let us just do it instead of wasting time, effort and breaking relationships by arguing about something that needs doing.
We as a church will be more united if we stop looking at the differences and start looking at each one as part of the body of Christ.
The church would be a powerful movement if we just keep looking into the perfect law of liberty and keep doing what we are all called to do.
If we the church, believe in Jesus, live in the resurrection power and be led by the Holy Spirit, then we will be the church Jesus is building.
Let us keep our eyes on Christ and His great commandment and keep doing the great commission.
