Gifts are given to us by God but the fruit of the Spirit is developed by our participation when we walk according to God's word and according to His Spirit.

When we take the gifts of the Spirit that God has given and walk in obedience following the characteristics of that gift, we will surely see the fruit of the Spirit manifesting in our lives.

For example, if we were given a beauty machine as a gift, which can give us 1000 benefits yet we are not able to enjoy the 1000 benefits if we don't take time to learn about the machine, its potential and how it works.

In order to operate all the functions available in the machine and to bring out every single benefit effectively, we need to give it our total attention to operate it accurately.

If the machine is handled wrongly, it will bring more harm than good and the results will be bad and could even lead to danger.

The more we spend time learning about the machine, the better we become in operating it and the more efficient it is to bring about a good result.

How much more it is with the things of the Spirit. We need to know our Creator in order to function the way God had intended for us.

Using the gifts for the wrong reason always creates bad results yet it does not mean that God and His gifts are bad. It just simply means the person who uses it needs to know and do it right to benefit others.

Let us develop all that God has given to us.

Let us develop the gifts that God has sealed in us through Christ's death and resurrection.

If we spend time with the Giver of gifts then we will be efficient and effective in the gifts and that will bring about beautiful fruits in and through our lives.

Let us cultivate, stir, encourage each other to grow and manifest God's glory and power in the world.
