Isaiah 25:9 KJV

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and He will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Isaiah 25:9 KJV

This is the prophecy and the cries of the people of God for a breakthrough, looking for an answer to all their sufferings and believing for redemption that someday it will come.

They were crying out for the veil that is separating them to be removed so that they can taste the goodness of God for their lives.

That day has come and has manifested through Christ our Lord. We are privileged to live in what the old testament believers longed for.

Today we can rejoice in the Lord who gave us eternal life, restored the fellowship that was separated by sin, removed the veil so that we can see, taste and experience the goodness of God.

David longed to be in the house of the Lord and declared it is better one day in the house of the Lord than anywhere else in the world.

Today we have God and able to dwell in God's presence 24/7 every single second of the day.

Such contrast with the old covenant. Far greater blessings we have in God.

How grateful we should be for the blessings that the Lord has blessed us.

We have attained yet we complain, we have possessed yet we murmur, we are blessed yet we are not satisfied.

These are not the characteristics of a grateful person.

If we have been in the shoes of those who cry day and night for salvation and deliverance from the Lord, we would appreciate every single day to live in the freedom of His grace and favour.

We have Christ in us.

He has delivered us and restored us as the children of the living God. We have so much to be grateful for. More than the circumstances that come our way.

If we would number the kindness of God every day, we would realise how blessed we are and how amazing is His love towards us.

Let us rejoice and be glad for all that we are today by the grace of God.

Blessing
