Delight yourself also in

the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart are not just saying "Lord, I delight in You." nor is it a prayer or a wish that we make.

To delight in someone we need to know them.

We need to know what is it that they love and care about.

We need to know their personality.

To delight in God is about knowing God, knowing His personality and who He is and what He has prepared for us.

To delight in God we have to align all our heart according to His heart.

When we start delighting ourselves in God and aligning ourselves according to His word, we will start to develop God's kind of desire.

When our hearts and minds are in tune with God and we are delighting ourselves in His desire, we will start to like what God likes and hate what God hates.

When we delight ourselves in God we will find that our hearts and minds will be more Christ-like. We will be confident in the things of God.

All our wants and desires transforms from a selfcented, greed and pride to a godly desires that is of God and of His character.

Just like Jesus we too will start to display the heart of our Father in heaven. He becomes our delight and we His.

us continue to delight ourselves in the Lord our God so that we will be able to manifest the glory of God.
