I Timothy 3:16 NKJV
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
I Timothy 3:16 NKJV
In this letter, Paul wrote about people who had a good reputation for leadership. This is important in terms of maturity, good standing and godly characteristics.
But in the end, Paul points all back to God and said great is the mystery of godliness. God looks at the heart, and He knows who has the characteristics and faith in God.
As much as we want to appoint leaders in the ministry based on their capabilities, talents and their character, we must give ear to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying.
God who is supernatural works in a supernatural way with those who yield themselves to Him in the spirit. That is we walk by faith and not by sight.
God's way and His direction must come above man's judgement and decisions. If we don't follow God's decisions, we may put the wrong people in the right place.
Right people in the right place will move the ministry forward. Wrong people in the leadership will bring religion and it will become stagnant and inactive.
This is the reason why as much as we want good, reputable leaders in the leadership, we need to seek God for His approval.
Today we all serve the Lord through His grace, love, authority and power. We serve the Lord through His Spirit.
Let us seek God's approval in every decision we make and give Him the glory and honour.
Blessings
