“And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”

Love is God’s character and anyone who claims to be His child would display love to others.

It’s a non negotiable character for someone who believes in Christ Jesus and much more for all the leaders in God’s kingdom.

Anyone who says they love the Lord but have hatred towards others, they are not genuine in their faith.

To love is to follow what Jesus has done and obey His teachings.

Those who hate their brother follow their feelings and listen to what men have said.

It’s important that we don’t preach love and disqualify ourselves by not loving.

We need to build ourselves in God's love in order to love others. We need to cut off the information of our feelings and wants and take on God’s word and look at how He loved us.

This does not mean we are to accept everything that they do but we can still love them and pray them into God’s kingdom.

Jesus did not see the filth in us but forgave us and laid down His life for us.

We deserve punishment but received grace, mercy and top it above all with love.

That’s the measure we have to use for others. Love them the way God showed His love towards us.

Truly there is no better way to reflect what we believe is true by loving everyone.

Let us keep our hearts and minds on the love that God bestowed upon us everyday so that we can love like Jesus.
